I started Love & Thunder to share an important culture that is currently under threat. My culture is still relitively unknown, however due to the ongoing war, it is finding its way into poeples lives in unexpected & wonderful ways. Ukraine is so important for so many different reasons from agriculture & technology to cuisine & world history.

My story started in Lukiv, which is a small town in the west of Ukraine. I grew up spending my childhood playing in the countryside and helping my family on our field growing wheat, potatoes and fresh vegatables. Fast forward to 2022, I found myself living in the UK after the war started. I started my little candle business to share my memories with the people I meet who have never been to Ukraine and to understand how important my culture is. As a result, I donate 10% of profits to a charity called Britukraid who help organise humanitarian aid for so many of my people affected by this war.
